As seen in this tutorial (Achieving the Perfect, Draping Fringe): https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cp9IgZ3LyUX/
Materials:
- 15/0 Miyuki Delica seed beads (but you can use a different size!)
- Fireline string (6 lb, color: crystal) for the brick stitch.
- K.O. String (light blue) for the fringe.
Design uses brick stitch and fringe. I have marked where the changes are so itโs easier to see.
I accented mine with 2mm fire polished crystals (just leave the center 4 beads out to include a center crystal). I also added some on the fringe.
Refer to images of the completed earrings if you have questions, or leave a comment and I will get back to you!

Hi, I absolutely love your earrings. I downloaded your pattern. I don’t quite understand how to add the 2mm bead in the center. Can you show how you do that? Please and thank you.
Hey Ashley, the larger bead that connects the head, torso, and pelvis is simply wire wrapped. You just need round pliers to do it. There’s lots of free tutorials on Youtube!
How do you decrease by more than one?
Just weave back through the design to come out where you need to start your row! ๐
Hi there! I am excited to make these earrings. Question…for the first 3 rows did you use a 3 drop brick stitch and then a 2 drop brick stitch or did you use a flat square stitch?
Hey! Good question! The bottom row has a 3 drop brick stitch, then it varies between 2 drop and 1 for the rest of the design. So, all brick stitch.
One more question! How do you get your beads to line up on top of one another so well…any special bead hack? I’ve tried rolling them with my fingers a little, but they still don’t stack up like yours. I finally figured out tension, but not this! Your patterns and color combinations are so beautiful!
Thank you for the pattern, I just finished the pair and absolutely love how they turned out. I quickly got lost on your instagram, what beautiful creations. I am wondering if you are going to offer the little heart earring pattern for sale in your Etsy shop?
Hey Vicki! Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the pattern. I’d be happy to post the heart pattern for free as soon as I get the chance.
